Chris's Story

In November of 2004 while working as a firefighter/paramedic I responded off duty to a structure fire. Once on scene and walking up a long driveway, I was already exhausted. By the time my work was done I felt sick. It was all due to my weight. I was 33 years old and had hypertension. Not to mention family history of a heart attack and diabetes. I decided that I needed to once and for all address my obesity.

I had friends in which had the LAP-BAND® surgery with success. Some which let themselves fail. After attending the seminar, I knew this was for me. I went through with the LAP-BAND® on May 23, 2005. Sixteen months later I have lost 66lbs and 8 inches off my waist. I feel GREAT! Dr Ehrlich and staff are wonderful and sympathetic to their patients. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and my family. I finally can keep up with my 2 ½ year old !
