Alan's Story

My name is Alan DiPietro and I had LAP-BAND® Surgery August 24, 2005, since then I have lost 95 pounds and 10 inches off my waist. There have been some major changes in my lifestyle and health. Before the surgery, I was taking approximately 10 pills of medication a day for diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and arthritis. Remarkably, three weeks after the surgery I was off all the medications and haven't had to take any since then. The amount of extra energy I have has allowed me to do much more for myself and for my family. This year's summer vacation was so much more exciting and fun, I was able to enjoy and do much more with my children and family like enjoy some rides and the swimming at the beach. I can't say enough good things about what LAP-BAND® Surgery has done for my family and me.
